The original developers have abandoned the Fud.Finance project. It was evident to me when the website DNS was hacked and we could no longer access it. Having been the English translator, Art Director and Game Designer on the project — I was also abandoned and promises to fund future games for me were never going to happen. Top that with getting COVID19 twice and having my wife get diagnosed with cancer, it’s been a hell of a 2021.
I did create the original NFT contracts. And that has been a saving grace for moving forward. Luckily, as the one creating art, it was important that I build direct access to OpenSea and other platforms.
FIRST: REBRANDING
The project will be re-branded. There are numerous reasons for this, including and not limited to the fact that the previous developers and financial supporters that started this, may still lay claim to some of the intellectual as we grow in success over time. We really don’t want to have any conflicts of this nature.
The new branding has already been created and is currently being worked on. We are also moving a majority of the project to BSC. Some elements will remain on the Ethereum chain.
SECOND: WHAT DO WE DO WITH FUD?
Well, as you know, there was no IDO, no presale no sale of coins by the team. It was what they now call a “fair launch.” And though $FUD is close to our hearts, we must move forward to better and new directions.
We will also be placing every OG NFT on sale for $FUD. Prices will range from 1 $FUD to 10 $FUD for all of our older content. All $FUD received will be burnt. This process will take a week or so to get priced. We don’t have a pricing bot unfortunately.
We do want to reward current $FUD holders and as such, the first thing we will do is generate Gold Minting Cards for the new, rebranded product. There will be 500 Gold Minting Cards total. Each GMC will cost 50 $FUD and will be on OpenSea under the official FUD NFT contract. All $FUD received will be burnt on a weekly basis. The GMC will be an Ethereum NFT.
At current $FUD rates, this would roughly equate to $300 per GMC.
Each Gold Minting Card will allow you the following on the new platform:
- If you have a GMC and an old NFT, this will allow you to receive a new NFT (when available) on the new platform that essentially replaces the old NFT. In this case both NFTs will exist and there is no need to burn the Ethereum version. The new BSC NFT will be different than the previous version in art and design.
The first card we plan on migrating is Mt.Gox. Mt.Gox on BSC will have the utility of profit sharing all secondary market sale on all Ethereum and BSC contracts. This would include play-to-earn, avatars and CCG NFTs.
- You will receive free airdrops every month on BSC (since gas is cheap.) These will be NFTs pertaining to the utility/play-to-earn gamified experience.
- You will receive the ability to mint (1) Algorithmic Avatar for free when we do our Ethereum Avatar sets. We plan on doing a few of these a year and have been working on our first set of assets already. The cost of the GMC basically covers your first mint.
- You will be able to enter in to presales, ahead of public sales for each Algorithmic Avatar release moving forward. This will allow you to buy a limited number of mints before everyone else.
THIRD: WHAT ABOUT T-REKT
For those of you that have a T-Rekt card, we will migrate you into a Silver Minting Card for free. The SMC will be on BSC.
To qualify, you must burn your T-Rekt card on Ethereum and send us the transaction tx. This ensures that we are only creating one T-Rekt per user.
Each Silver Minting Card will allow you the following on the new platform:
- You will be able to enter in to presales, ahead of public sales for each Algorithmic Avatar release moving forward. This will allow you to buy a limited number of mints before everyone else.
- You get (1) airdrop a month. Gold card members receive unlimited airdrops.
FOURTH: NEW DIRECTION
There will be three distinct parts to the new rebranded ecosystem:
- The CCG Game
- The Play-To-Earn Ecosystem
- The Avatar Ecosystem
THE CCG GAME
The CCG Game card will be created and minted on BSC moving forward and will take on a new design (most of you have seen Avaxalus.) Each card will be released in a completely new and progressive way as well.
There will only be one NFT generated for the physical card game moving forward that shall be for sale. However, we do make it quite appealing for the collector/owner of the NFT by giving away all rights to the holder.
This should summarize how these will work and is taken from the text embedded in each new NFT:
The first NFT collectible card game where you are the owner, publisher and rights holder for each 1/1 card created. Collect them all and publish your own game! This NFT also unlocks the original PSD for the [xxx] character, a non-animated file for the card, and a print-ready PDF file.
You may use the content for merchandise, marketing or any other purpose as long as “© Copyright [xxx]. All Rights Reserved.” is included in each usage in some way. You may add your own credits on top of this as needed. Should you resell or lose the original NFT, you will also relinquish all rights to the next owner for all products or derivative products created. So please be careful and aware that to retain these rights, you must retain the NFT.
[xxx] shall retain rights to derivative works for online play-to-earn or other online purposes only. We shall not create merchandise for sale or any physical products. We shall not use the card as pictured or the character as pictured. Derivative works shall mean that we completely redo the art for the character in a different art style should we choose to use it as to not compete with the NFT holder. Any derivative works shall also not constitute a CCG game — but rather a different style of gameplay so as to not compete with the NFT holder.
THE PLAY-TO-EARN ECOSYSTEM
But wait! What about the Ethereum DRM Game?
Migration and development of the DRM components will move toward having gamified utilities and gaming components for a more focused online experience. The same characters will appear here through migration or new development. And best of all, they will still be great looking NFTs.
The art structure and design will change, but the characters and abilities you loved will transition well into this. It will become a playground of experiments and fun activities over time.
Best of all, any migrated cards will be limited to those who have a GMC and the original card(s) on Ethereum. So other people will only be able to purchase these through a secondary market.
THE AVATAR ECOSYSTEM
Let’s face it, everyone loves an avatar. Look at CryptoDads for instance.
We are good at art. So it only makes sense that we develop our own avatars. By holding a GMC, you will get a ton of benefits that will more than pay for itself over time as we create our avatar sets.
TIMELINES
We have none.
However, we will start with creating the art for the GMC and SMC. The GMC will go on sale and we will work on sorting out the process for the SMC. Once we get the GMC listed, we will create Mt.Gox on BSC and work on our very first migration. After that it will be a rollercoaster of getting things done with a very high priority set on our very first Avatar set.
WHAT ABOUT A NEW COIN?
Only time will tell if a new utility coin on BSC will be worth it. If we do create one, GMC holders will receive free airdrops of the token.
