Why The Gold Mint Card (GMC)?
The GMC was created for a few different reasons. The main reason being that we need to move our loyal fans over to a new system/product since the original devs are no longer supporting the token. We were the artists, OG NFT-creators and supporters of the project from the very beginning, and we want to take that portion of the product over to something new and better.
In order to accomplish this, we have been in negotiations with the original devs to secure the liquidity of the token and whatever contracts we might need to migrate the NFTs and images over effectively. The cost to Paul on this endeavor was a sizeable amount of $BTC. This $BTC would only buy us time as we could never gain access to the token contract wallet. After successfully negotiating an amount, we were also given a deadline which we need to adhere to. I knew we could not migrate the project to Polygon (Matic) without striking a deal with the devil so to speak. We also waited for $BTC to drop in price (which is did recently) before making this payment.
The Gold Mint Card, sold only for $FUD tokens, was our solution to the migration and reboot. We do own the OpenSea contracts and needed to keep all of this within our ability of control. This is why we made the Gold Mint Card the most valuable NFT in the new ecosystem.
Starting tomorrow, all cards on OpenSea will also be listing for FUD (for a discount.) This is a quite time-consuming process, so it will be as fast as we can get to it. As far as the farm — we will add a couple of GMC cards there on 10/15 if they have not sold out.
The GMC will release today.
Our deadline to sell GMC NFTs is 10/31/2021. On 11/1 or thereabouts, the remaining Gold Mint Cards will be burnt. All $FUD collected will be burnt as well.
On or about 11/15/2021, we will no longer have contact with nor will we further negotiate with the previous development team. We cannot control their actions and we cannot afford to pay anymore ransom on these tokens. I gave us two weeks after the NFT sales to wrap up any loose ends such as processing all SMC (Silver Mint Card) redemptions. There is a chance that they keep the coin or that they cannot access the minting contract because why else would they agree to giving us more time? But this is all conjecture and we have no real way of checking. I would err on the side of caution. And yes, these people will keep their word —the devs will get one more payment on or about 11/7/2021 (being transparent.)
We understand that this may cause some volatility. If you like the project and our future, I would recommend getting a GMC. If the price dips, the GMC price will be even cheaper — and the value offer will be quite incredible. We have learned a lot about NFTs, Avatars and OpenSea during our health downtime. What Does The GMC Do?
The short answer is that the GMC does “a lot.”
The GMC has a limited mint of 500. Any remaining GMC on 11/1/2021 will be burnt, increasing scarcity.
There are some clues on the card as to what we will be calling our new project and the theme to the main CCG. Think of the new CCG as a catalyst for getting eyes on DRM and our new Avatar projects. BTW — the very first avatar project is being developed as we speak and should be a hit (and will be unrelated to DRM and KCC.)
This NFT will have the following functions:
You will receive PTE (Play To Earn) and or utility NFTs for free each as they are created. These NFTs are limited to GMC holders. These NFTs will be airdropped through Polygon.
You will receive migration NFTs for each DRM card you hold and is upgraded. For instance, if you have a Mt.Gox, you will receive a new Mt.Gox. This will be the only way to get these new, limited edition NFTs.
You will receive (1) free NFT mint for each new avatar project released (you pay the gas.)
You will be able to buy all of our avatar project releases at pre-sale before the general public.
If we ever release another utility token, you will receive a free allocation.
GMC cards may stack as well.
What Else?
At the end of the day, this was a long negotiation on our part and the deadline to figure it out was fast approaching. We wanted to revive the project, but as I’ve said, there were some complications. After reviewing, we felt that this was the best course of action.
Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on our first avatar project. It’s something that competes with CryptoDads. Great art, funny theme and very crypto related. People will want those mint cards once we start revealing art and the name. Even if they have not heard of DRM.
The value proposition here is good if not great.
